Nature Preserve
From
New Orleans, take I-10 West to Baton Rouge. Go through Baton Rouge and get on
I-110 North (do not go toward Lafayette). Stay on I-110 until it ends. This
will be Hwy 61, which will lead you towards St. Francisville. Stay on Hwy 61
until you come to Hwy 965 (just before St. Francisville). The Preserve is
located 30 miles north of Baton Rouge off of Hwy 61. Turn east on Hwy 965 and
travel 5.5 miles. Mary Ann Brown Nature Preserve will be on the left side. The
physical address is 13515 Highway 965.
Directions to Clark Creek
Natural Area (Tunica Falls)
From
Hwy 61, go through St. Francisville. Continue north on Hwy 61 until you come to
Hwy 66 (there will be a sign to Angola). Turn left on Hwy 66 and travel
approximately 12 miles. Look for the Woodville-Pickney sign (there will also be
a sign that says "Clark Creek Natural Area"). Turn right and travel
approximately 7 miles. Look for Fort Adams Pond Road. Take a left and look for
the Pond Store (an old white building with a pond across the street). The
parking area for the falls is right down the street from the Pond Store.
